UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. -- Penn State Undergraduate Admissions is gearing up for the 'Spend a Summer Day' open houses across all 20 undergraduate campuses, the University’s largest prospective student event each year. The immersive campus experiences allow prospective students to explore Penn State student life, academic programs, and campus communities.

Prospective students can tour campuses, learn about majors, and interact with current students, advisers, and faculty through a mix of information sessions, panels, and drop-in visits at campus facilities like residence halls and academic colleges. Each campus’s open house will represent its unique offerings, which allows prospective students to find their ideal campus fit with Penn State. 'Spend a Summer Day' also encourages future Penn Staters to apply to the University. Penn State received over 120,000 undergraduate applications for the 2024 admissions cycle.

Undergraduate Admissions at the University Park campus is hiring current students to make Spend a Summer Day and other summer events as impactful as possible. University Park’s 'Spend a Summer Day' takes place July 26, 29, 30, August 1 and 2. For all campus event dates and registration information, visit the Spend a Summer Day webpage.

Undergraduate Admissions hosts a wide range of in-person and virtual prospective student events throughout the year supporting enrollment across all 20 Penn State undergraduate campuses, including information sessions, campus tours, bus trips, and school counselor visits.
