Penn State Fayette celebrates student research at fall Undergraduate Exhibition

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus has announced the winners of its fall Undergraduate Exhibition, a campus-wide event that showcases the most innovative and creative projects from students across various disciplines.

Undergraduate Research Category Winners

First Place: Lucas Beddick for his research on “Self-Compassion as a Predictor of Tendencies for Prosocial Behavior,” guided by faculty mentor Elaine Barry.

Second Place: Noah Fike and Garrett Poland for their research on “Design of Fayette Engineering Display Highlighting Different Fabricating Methods,” guided by faculty mentor Gerald Angle.

Class Project Category Winners

First Place: Paulette Irwin for her research on “Food and Latin American Festivals,” guided by faculty mentor Ginett Pineda.

Second Place: Jamie Walters for her work on “SawSync,” guided by faculty mentor Rasoul Milasi.

Third Place: Linsey Bailey, Madison Davis, Alexandra McGee, McKenzie Pittsment, Zowie Skiles, Caitlyn Snyder, and Analise Younkin for their research on “Life Flow Blood Administration Devise,” guided by faculty mentor Valerie Vanderhoff.
