WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will hold its first virtual admissions event presented entirely in Spanish for prospective Latino students and their families. The event is titled "Excursión virtual de sábado de diciembre" and it will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, beginning at 10 a.m.
The college’s Latina admissions counselor will begin with a brief admissions presentation, followed by a virtual tour of the campus with Latino Lion Ambassador student tour guides. The tour includes two on-campus residence halls, cafeteria and cafe, student union, academic buildings, the bookstore, and more. When students register, their confirmation email will include the link to the event.
This event is part of Penn State Berks’ efforts to support Latino students and parents. Virtual events connect prospective students with Penn State Berks to learn more about the admissions process, student engagement opportunities and what it is like to become part of the college community.
In addition to these events, prospective students can schedule a one-on-one virtual visit with an admissions counselor to get answers to individual questions.
