UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After successful summer events last year, Penn State Athletics announces the return of Namastadium and Films on the Field this summer at Panzer Stadium, located on University Drive beside the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus.
Namastadium is a yoga class held on the Panzer Stadium field on Saturday, July 13. Gates will open at 8 a.m. and class begins at 9 a.m. The duration of the class is one hour and the cost is $40. Registration for the class is available here. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are allowed to bring in a water bottle. Parking is available in the Jordan East lot for $1 per hour via the Park Mobile app.
Films on the Field will take place on Saturday, July 27 (The Incredibles) and Saturday, August 17 (Despicable Me). Films on the Field are free to the public. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m. Movie goers are allowed to bring in lawn chairs and picnic blankets. No outside food or drink is permitted. Parking will be a $5 cash lot on the night of the event.
