UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association will host Senior Week at University Park for the Class of 2024, April 22–26.
Graduating seniors at University Park and their friends are invited to Senior Week celebrations that will help commemorate their experiences as Penn State students.
"We're so excited to celebrate alongside our graduating seniors during their final moments on campus as Penn State students," said Daphne Mark, coordinator, Student and Young Alumni Communities. "There will be events all across campus this week, including at the Hintz Family Alumni Center, the soon-to-be home of the Class of 2024!"
Events slated for Senior Week include:
Monday–Thursday, April 22–25, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.: Graduation Cap Decorating
Location: Hintz Family Alumni Center Conference Rooms
Bring your graduation cap. We have lots of arts and crafts supplies to decorate your cap, including a Cricut machine to customize your ideas!
Monday, April 22, 10 a.m.–noon: Commemorative Grad Photos
Location: Hintz Family Alumni Center
Soon-to-be graduates will have the opportunity to have complimentary photos taken in their cap and gown.
Tuesday, April 23, noon–2 p.m.: Commemorative Grad Photos
Location: Lion Shrine
Soon-to-be graduates will have the opportunity to have complimentary photos taken in their cap and gown.
Tuesday, April 23, 5–7 p.m.: THON Senior Celebration
Location: Hintz Family Alumni Center, Robb Hall
Graduating students who want to stay connected with the THON community after graduation are invited to stop by the Hintz Family Alumni Center to learn more about how to remain involved as alumni.
Wednesday, April 22, 2–4 p.m.: Commemorative Grad Photos
Location: Old Main
Soon-to-be graduates will have the opportunity to have complimentary photos taken in their cap and gown.
Thursday, April 25, noon-4 p.m.: Senior Sendoff
Location: Hintz Family Alumni Center
All members of the Class of 2024 at University Park are invited to stop by the Hintz Family Alumni Center to celebrate graduation with the Penn State Alumni Association. The event will include free food, giveaways, entertainment, and opportunities to meet fellow Penn Staters from all over.
Friday, April 26, gates open at 3:30 p.m.: Movin’ On
Location: IM Fields
One of the largest student-run musical festivals in the country, Movin’ On brings a free celebration for all graduating students who are “movin’ on” in their lives. For more information, visit https://www.movinon.org/festival.
The Penn State Alumni Association is committed to supporting students in their Penn State experience, and graduates once they finish their time at Penn State. These events are geared toward providing soon-to-be graduates with helpful information, connecting them with their peers, and celebrating their time spent in Happy Valley.
The Penn State Alumni Association also supports graduates with a free year of membership, giving them access to the global alumni network, events and fellow Penn Staters in their local area, career resources, and much more.
