Changes to parking and transit services during Thanksgiving break

Transportation Services has announced changes to campus parking and transit services during the University's Thanksgiving holiday break.

PARKING

Monday, Nov. 20 - Wednesday, Nov. 22

All normal weekday faculty, staff, student, and visitor parking regulations will remain in effect. However, due to reduced CATA Loop and Link service, faculty/staff Orange and both faculty/staff and student Commuter permits will be valid at the following faculty/staff parking areas:

  • Eisenhower Deck
  • Lot Red A
  • Orange lots
  • Commuter lots

All other faculty/staff permit holders must park in their designated parking areas, or at one of the Orange or Commuter lots. Evening/weekend permits will remain valid on weekdays only after 4 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 23 - Friday, Nov. 24

Weekend parking regulations will be in effect, which means that faculty/staff and student permit holders may park in all lots normally available to them during evening/weekend hours. Visitor parking will be available at no charge at all four campus parking decks, as well as at any campus lots not designated as being reserved 24 hours a day, seven days a week (see lot entrance signs for reserved hours).

Overnight restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the Commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.
