WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will host its annual Unity Day celebration — the largest diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging event at the college — from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, on the Perkins Student Center lawn. This year’s theme is “Building Memories through Community.” All Unity Day activities are free and open to the public.

The event will showcase diversity across people, services, majors and organizations from across the campus, with an emphasis on student clubs. Activities will take place under the tent at the Perkins Plaza, rain or shine. Light refreshments will be served, featuring cuisine from different world regions.

This event is sponsored by the Penn State Berks Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee and funded by the Student Initiated Fee. For more information on Unity Day, contact Aubrey Edwards, academic adviser, at 610-396-6285 or ARE12@psu.edu.
