WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will host its annual youth summer camps starting on Monday, June 17. Camp offerings are for elementary, middle and high school-aged participants and are on-site at the Penn State Berks campus in Spring Township, Pennsylvania.
Each program is four days long meeting on Monday through Thursday for either a full day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or half day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Elementary school camps include Code Your Own Adventure: Interactive Storytelling, AI Adventures: Intro to Machine Learning, and Minecraft Designers – all focused on concepts involving coding, technology, and video games.
Middle and high school camps include a variety of topics including Drones, Satellites and Digital Mapping, Sustainable City Challenge, Forensic Crime Solvers II and Rocket Launchers.
High school camps also include the Teen Entrepreneur Challenge Summer Camp — in partnership with the Penn State Lehigh Valley LaunchBox. Participants will work in teams to learn business and entrepreneurial strategies.
