ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend’s soccer teams overpowered Wells, earning Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference wins. Johnathan Swann, a junior from Allison Park, and Rori Kostos, a freshman from Cleveland, Ohio, each scored a hat trick.
Behrend’s volleyball, golf, tennis and water polo teams also were in action last week. Here are the scores and highlights:

Penn State Behrend 11, Wells 0
Blake Cooper, a junior from Murrysville, scored a goal and had two assists against Wells. He also scored against Pitt-Greensburg.

Penn State Behrend 10, Wells 0
Audra Kuzma, a junior from Center, scored two goals against Wells. Lizzie Hoff, a sophomore from Moon Township, scored against Pitt-Greensburg.
Women’s volleyball
John Carroll 3, Penn State Behrend 0
Breana Reynolds, a senior from Cranberry Township, had nine kills on 15 attempts. Setter Meg Goodsel, a senior from Corry, had 22 assists, six digs and two kills.
Men’s golf
Eighth (of 15 teams) at the La Roche Invitational
Jake Caldwell, a senior from Belle Vernon, placed 10th in a field of 80 golfers. He carded a team-low 79.
Women’s golf
Fourth (of 11 teams) at the Grove City Invitational
Maddie Salter, a freshman from Walnutport, led the Lions with a score of 89. She tied for eighth place in a field of 48 golfers.
Men’s tennis
Grove City 9, Penn State Behrend 0
Jonathon Laier, a junior from Lansing, Michigan, and Akash Sangha, a freshman from Milton, Ontario, lost a close match at No. 1 doubles, falling 6-8.
Women’s tennis
Pitt-Greensburg 7, Penn State Behrend 2
Tamanna Sharma, a sophomore from Brampton, Canada, won at No. 2 singles, finishing with scores of 2-6, 6-4 and 10-8. Keri Saulino, a junior from Bethlehem, won at No. 6 singles, 7-5, 6-2.
Men’s water polo
Caltech 13, Penn State Behrend 11
Air Force 23, Penn State Behrend 3
Chapman 23, Penn State Behrend 3
UC Merced 20, Penn State Behrend 7
Jack Holl, a junior from Greenwich, Connecticut, scored four goals against Caltech. Leyton Vrono, a junior from Murrieta, California, made 13 saves.
