Behrend pep rally

The Penn State Behrend community will celebrate its student-athletes at a pep rally on the Reed Union Building lawn on Wednesday, Sept. 20. The program, which will include ice cream, giveaways and lawn games, is part of the college’s 75th anniversary celebration.

The pep rally will begin at 3 p.m. and continue until 5 p.m.

Penn State Behrend fields 22 NCAA Division III teams. In the 2022-23 season, the men’s and women’s cross country teams and the men’s tennis team won Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships.

The college’s athletics facilities include the new Erie Hall, a $28.2 million fitness, recreation and wellness center; Junker Center, which includes an eight-lane swimming pool, three all-purpose courts and seating for 1,600; and baseball, softball, soccer, and track-and-field complexes.

The college has won the AMCC Presidents Cup 20 times since 2001.
