Behrend Jazz Ensemble to perform winter concert

ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend Jazz Ensemble will perform its winter concert on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. in McGarvey Commons. The program is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature the music of Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Charlie Parker, among others. Special guest Brendan Lanighan, who has toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, will sit in on trombone.

The Behrend Jazz Ensemble is comprised of saxophones, trumpets, trombones and a rhythm section consisting of piano, guitar, bass and drums.
