UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Nittany Lion men's hockey fans will pack the nearly 1,000-seat Roar Zone student section for the 2014-15 season as student season tickets sold out in just three minutes Thursday (Sept. 11) morning.
"Penn State students comprise the most energized and passionate fan base in collegiate athletics," said head men's hockey coach Guy Gadowsky. "We're extremely appreciative of their continued support, along with the raucous atmosphere they help provide during games at Pegula Ice Arena. The coaches, staff and team are excited to see a packed Roar Zone for the first of many times Oct. 10."
Season ticket packages for the 2014-15 season were available for purchase beginning at 7 a.m. and included 14-of-18 homes games at Pegula Ice Arena. The Ohio State (Jan. 9-10) and Michigan (March 6-7) series fall during campus breaks and were not included in the package.
