WPSU earns five regional Emmy nominations for 2024

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — WPSU has earned five 2024 regional Emmy award nominations from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.  

The 40th Annual Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards ceremony will be held in Pittsburgh on Saturday, Sept. 21. The awards honor excellence in television news, programming and individual achievement in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.  

"We have worked hard this year to produce engaging programming that has earned recognition at this prestigious level, and we look forward to continuing to produce content that serves a variety of audiences within the University community and beyond," said Mindy McMahon, director of production for WPSU.
