Penn State alumni and friends are invited to a special Tea in the Gallery in celebration of the “PAINTINGS” Exhibit at 1 p.m. on March 9, at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

The “PAINTINGS” exhibit features work by artists Elizabeth Snelling and Scott Bennett. The event, complete with scones, tea sandwiches, desserts and tea in the Ronald K. De Long Gallery, will include a brief primer on Afternoon Tea and a talk with the artists. Art available for sale.

“The Ronald K. De Long Gallery will provide a beautiful setting for this event,” said Diane McAloon, director of alumni relations at Penn State Lehigh Valley. “It will be a fun, relaxing and unique way to learn more about Afternoon Tea, and about the artwork currently on display directly from the artists who painted them.”

The cost per person is $25, payable in advance. For more information or to register, contact Diane McAloon at 610-285-5066 or dmcaloon@psu.edu.
