UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Students in the course ART 330 Metal Fabrication and Mixed Media will present an outdoor exhibition titled “Signed, Steeled, Delivered,” which features works of art installed at various locations around the University Park campus. The artwork will be on display from April 16 to 24.
The artists have culminated their semester’s work in pieces that both embody and defy the nature of steel. In addition to crafting public displays of metalwork, they have forged new meaning and captured 14 unique forms to enhance the visual quality of the campus.
The fourteen student artists featured in the exhibition are Kriss Barr, Emi Driscoll, Chee Earn Khor, Alexa Kim, Robbie Horton, Kaylie Maines, Adelaine Muth, Katie Pack, Danielle Spewak, Andrew Storck, Victoria Tayman, Haven Tucker, Jocelyn Vitale, and Yiwei Wang.
A public reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, in the Visual Arts Building courtyard, located behind Au Bon Pain. The artists invite viewers to photograph the work and post it to social media using the hashtag #signedsteeleddelivered2018.
