      Penn State School of Music to host concerts for December

      UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State School of Music is hosting a number of upcoming concerts in December.

      Penn State Opera Theatre and Philharmonic Orchestra in Concert

      Tuesday, Dec. 6 — 7:30 p.m., Eisenhower Auditorium

      Concert Band and Symphonic Band concert

      Wednesday, Dec. 7 — 7:30 p.m., Eisenhower Auditorium

      "Essence of Joy: Our Gift of Song"

      Friday, Dec. 9 — 7:30 p.m., Recital Hall

      "Christmas in Brass"

      Sunday, Dec. 11 — 7:30 p.m., Recital Hall
