The Ronald K. De Long Gallery and the Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSU-LV) will present the work of more than 80 local students who studied art courses during Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 in its Student Art Exhibition, which runs Aug. 24 to Oct. 31. The annual exhibition, which was postponed from the spring due to COVID-19, highlights 130 student works created in visual studies courses at Penn State Lehigh Valley.
The exhibition features work created in drawing, painting, photography, metalwork, ceramics, sculpture and graphic design courses under the instruction of Greta Bergstresser, Chris Bonner, Christina Galbiati, David Gothard and Ann Lalik.
"Now that the exhibit is fully installed, we are working on creating the virtual tour and expect it to be ready by mid-September. Keep checking our website and Facebook page," said Ann Lalik, gallery director, Penn State Lehigh Valley.
The exhibit will soon be able to be viewed through Google Tours by visiting the Ronald K. De Long Gallery website. Or on Facebook at Arts At Penn State Lehigh Valley. Funding for this exhibition was provided by the PSU-LV Student Activity Fee.
The gallery is open while campus is open for students to visit or sit in to Zoom their classes. For more information, contact Ann Lalik, gallery director, at annlalik@psu.edu or 610-285-5261.
