UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State fans of Parker McCollum, one of country music’s most electric live performers, are in for a treat as the Texas-born singer-songwriter brings his "What Kinda Man Tour" to the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025.
The tour, named after McCollum’s latest single, “What Kinda Man,” kicks off in the new year, promising fans a mix of beloved hits and fresh tracks. Joining McCollum on tour are rising country music stars Kameron Marlowe and special guest Laci Kaye Booth.
McCollum, known for his powerful and authentic performances, expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying, “First, I want to say a huge thank you to each and every person who has come out to one of our shows. Y'all were with us rain or shine this past year, and I can say it was hands down one of my favorite tours. I truly do have the best fans out there! Y'all keep me doing the thing that I love to do, and for that, I'll forever be grateful. Can't wait to kick the doors down in 2025 and hope to see you all out on the road again next year.”
Tickets for the "What Kinda Man Tour" will go on sale to the general public on Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.com.
Currently on his "Burn It Down Tour," McCollum has continued to gain recognition for his chart-topping, Platinum-certified singles and high-energy performances. His hit “Burn It Down” is up for “Song of the Year” at the upcoming 58th CMA Awards, airing live on ABC on Nov. 20. This year, the music video for “Burn It Down” received the ACM Award for “Visual Media of the Year.”
