UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Quebec-based cirque company Flip Fabrique returns to Penn State with a new production by famed Québécois playwright, stage director, and actor Robert Lepage and his company Ex Machina.

Fans of televised professional wrestling will find kinship in “SLAM!”—a bold and kinetic theatrical experience at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Call 814-863-0255 or visit Flip Fabrique online for more information about the event.

“SLAM!” is a hyper-theater spectacle where acrobats portray a cast of characters, heroes and villains. Inspired by the pure theatricality, drama, and production that goes into a sumo, Mexican or pro-wrestling match, a variety of characters face off for hand-to-hand juggling, daring acrobatics and displays of strength. “SLAM!” is a 1980s-inspired wrestling extravaganza where bold falls, rants and dramatic moves come together.

The audience will be encouraged to boo and cheer for their favorite characters in this immersive stage performance.
