UNIVERSITY PARK — Since its own professional debut on May 8, 1974, Eisenhower Auditorium has been a cultural and community connector. During its 2024–25 season, the Center for the Performing Arts will pay homage to its home base and the building’s involvement in the State College community.
“Flashback Forward: Eisenhower Auditorium Turns 50!” will kick off the celebration at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, with longtime State College favorites Famly Brew (former members of the Phyrst Phamly), The Screaming Ducks and Pure Cane Sugar.
Calling 814-863-0255 or visit in person, weekdays 10 a.m.–4 p.m., at Eisenhower Auditorium, to purchase general-admission tickets. Visit “Flashback Forward” online for more information.
Brazilian Munchies, Farmstead Fusion, Rebelz Mobile Cuisine and Sunset Slush Happy Valley will offer food and beverages for purchase in front of the auditorium starting at 5:30 p.m. Beer by Elk Creek Café + Aleworks and wine by Mount Nittany Winery will be available for purchase in the Eisenhower Auditorium lobby for those age 21 and older.
The event is part of the "We Are Weekend" activities, and is a collaboration with Center for the Performing Arts and the Penn State Alumni Association and WPSU.
