UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Comedian and actor Adam DeVine will perform at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus.
DeVine is best known for his television and film roles as Bumper in “Pitch Perfect,” Manny in “Modern Family,” and Mike in “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.” DeVine also stars in his own show on Comedy Central called “Adam DeVine’s House Party,” and he was the co-writer and star of “Workaholics,” which aired for seven seasons on Comedy Central. He also stars in the Netflix romantic comedy “When We First Met,” which was released in February.
DeVine will be joined on stage by opening act Adam Ray, who has starred opposite Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in “The Heat,” as well as in McCarthy’s movie “Spy.” Ray has appeared on such television shows as “Workaholics,” “Arrested Development,” and “Chelsea Lately.” Along with acting, Ray has written for MTV’s “Punk’d” and for “Adam DeVine’s House Party.”

University Park students will be able to see DeVine for free courtesy of the Student Programming Association. Student tickets will be available at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, or the Penn State Downtown Theatre. A Penn State student ID is required, and there is a limit of two tickets per ID.
