NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Penn State New Kensington has issued a call for artists to participate in an art submission for consideration for auction at the fifth annual "Off the Wall pARTy" scheduled for June 9.

The pARTy aims to celebrate arts and culture with a unique evening consisting of art, live and silent auctions, food tastings, drinks, music and more. Proceeds from the event benefit cultural art initiatives and programs at the campus.

The 2022 event was a success and featured artist Christopher Ruane, a Pittsburgh-based augmented reality artist and photographer specializing in massive photo and video montages. The pARTy also features live music performances, art demonstrations, and pop-up art galleries, in addition to the auctions, food offerings and other interactive guest activities.

Artists who are selected to donate work will receive two tickets to the 2023 event, as well as special promotion and recognition at the auction, along with an opportunity to host a pop-up booth at the event to display and sell artwork.

Submissions are free and will be accepted until May 20 via an online submission form or by emailing Tina Booth at tms57@psu.edu. Full details about this year's call for artwork can be found on the online information webpage.
