UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center is ranked fourth in the world in concert and event tickets sold among university venues for the first half of 2016, according to a mid-year business analysis report by Pollstar.
Top-selling concerts and events during the time reported at the Bryce Jordan Center included Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Luke Bryan, Lil Wayne, Winter Jam, Monster Truck Nationals, Amy Schumer, Barry Manilow, Fetty Wap, Sesame Street Live, Harlem Globetrotters, Bryson Tiller and Jason Aldean.
The top 10 university arenas for ticket sales as listed in the report are:
1. EaglesBank Arena, Fairfax, Virginia — George Mason University (101,117 sold)
2. Save Mart Center, Fresno, California — California State University, Fresno (98,993 sold)
3. Frank Erwin Center, Austin, Texas — University of Texas at Austin (76,409 sold)
4. Bryce Jordan Center, University Park — Penn State (66,115 sold)
5. Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada — University of Nevada, Las Vegas (61,606 sold)
6. Chaifetz Arena, St. Louis, Missouri — Saint Louis University (59,581 sold)
7. Schottenstein Center, Columbus, Ohio — Ohio State University (59,078 sold)
8. John Paul Jones Arena, Charlottesville, Virginia — University of Virginia (58,460 sold)

As the largest arena between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, the Bryce Jordan Center is celebrating its 20th year of operation in 2016.
