Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 4

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Gerardo Edelstein, invites audiences to a fall concert on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium. This performance will feature Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 4, which he aptly nicknamed the "Romantic." A masterpiece celebrated for its sweeping melodies, grandeur and emotional depth, this performance is in celebration of Bruckner's 200th birthday. 

Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, completed in 1880, has captivated audiences for generations with its evocative imagery and majestic soundscapes. The Penn State Philharmonic, comprised of talented student musicians from all over the world, will bring this extraordinary work to life. 

Tickets are available through the Arts Ticket Center at this link. Prices are $12.50 for adults and $5 for students, with the box office opening one hour before each concert. A livestream will be accessible for remote viewers via the Penn State School of Music livestream page
