UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Gerardo Edelstein, will present a captivating concert on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. at the School of Music Recital Hall on Penn State's University Park campus. This delightful afternoon of music will feature an engaging program of works by Jacques Ibert and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The performance will begin with Ibert's playful and eclectic "Divertissement," a witty suite filled with charm and surprises. Following this, the orchestra will perform Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K. 550, one of his most beloved and dramatic symphonies, known for its emotional depth and powerful melodies.
Admission is $12.50 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased through the Arts Ticket Center. The box office opens one hour before the concert.
Parking is available at the Nittany Deck at an hourly or event rate.
