UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Blue Band is hosting their annual event, Blue Bandorama, at 4 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Bryce Jordan Center. This is the first time the event is taking place in three years, and will be filled with Blue Band’s greatest hits, including Penn State fight songs and stand tunes.

“We are so excited to ‘raise the song’ in the Bryce Jordan Center again,” Director Gregory Drane said. “We love providing the soundtrack to the football season to our Blue Band family members. It’s certainly an event we love to put on as an organization and one you don’t want to miss.”

The Penn State Blue Band was founded as a six-member drum and bugle corps in 1899 by George Deike. Since then, the Blue Band has grown in size and spirit, recognizing a long-lasting legacy of excellence and Penn State pride.

Tickets are $25 per person, and can be purchased via the Bryce Jordan Center website. They will also be for sale at the door for $35. Students can buy tickets for a discounted price of $10, thanks to their Student Fee.

The Penn State Blue Band strives to provide performances that are musically challenging and entertaining, and serve as a source of pride for the Penn State Community. The group believes that all members serve as ambassadors of Penn State, the Blue Band, and their respective local and global communities.
