UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Happy Valley Animation Festival (HVAF) will return for its fourth year on March 27-April 5, with events happening across the University Park campus and via livestream. All events are free and open to the public.
The HVAF is an international animation competition that seeks to showcase works by student, early career, and practicing professional artists, designers and filmmakers in three primary categories: Animated Short Films, Experimental Animation, and Animated Motion Graphics and Design. HVAF receives more than 1500 entries from more than 125 countries annually. The festival is a collaboration among organizers, volunteers and academic partners.
