UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association is inviting alumni to Happy Valley for the 2024 Black Alumni Reunion. The reunion weekend will take place on the University Park campus Oct. 25-27, and alumni are encouraged to register today.

The theme of this year’s event, which is supported by the Alumni Association and Penn State Educational Equity, is “For the Culture.” Participants can look forward to celebrating the rich history of Black students, faculty, and alumni at Penn State and contributing to the success of future generations.

“The Black Alumni Reunion is a multigenerational event that allows alumni to reconnect with the Penn Staters they know and forge new bonds with the ones they’ve just met,” said Jamika Williams, Penn State class of 2012 and Black Alumni Reunion chair. “Whether attendees visit Happy Valley often or haven’t made their way to campus in several years, this event will always remind alumni of why they chose Penn State in the first place.”

The weekend features a full lineup of events and opportunities for participants to rekindle their Penn State pride. Highlights include:

  • Welcome Reception featuring Berkey Creamery Ice Cream

  • Campus Facility Tours
