More than sixty students, faculty, and staff attended the spring 2025 open mic event sponsored by “Hard Freight,” Penn State Altoona's student literary arts magazine, on Tuesday, March 25. The event took place in Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
Students read original poetry, fiction, and nonfiction; shared visual artworks; and performed music. Students in all majors are welcome to register for ENGL 209, a 1-credit experiential course in which students produce an issue of the magazine.
Hard Freight Cafe is sponsored by the English program and “Hard Freight.”
