Penn State Altoona will present "Top Five in Twenty-Five Speaker Series: 'The Elevator Isn’t Empty—Best Practices for Developing Your Elevator Pitch'" with with José Otero from 12:05 to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in room 201 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence or via Zoom. The event is open to all students and community members.

Otero is the an innovation coach and portfolio manager with Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern PA. Need some skills to increase the effectiveness of your elevator pitch? Otero will share actionable advice you can put into place right away.

The event is part of Penn State Altoona’s celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), an annual celebration of Penn State's year-round commitment to innovation. It brings together students, faculty, staff and community members to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and cultivate student start-ups. Each November, GEW aims to inspire people everywhere through local, national and global events to help them explore their potential as innovators and self-starters.
