UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Administrative Fellows Program offers Penn State faculty and staff the opportunity to work with senior University officers to gain knowledge and experiences pertaining to leadership in the academic community.
For the 2023-24 academic year, the Administrative Fellows are:
- Melissa I. Doberstein, program director, Presidential Leadership Academy, Schreyer Honors College. Her mentor will be Jennifer Wilkes, vice president for Human Resources and chief human resources officer.
- Scarlett Miller, professor of engineering design and industrial engineering, School of Engineering Design and Innovation, College of Engineering. Her mentor will be Justin Schwartz, Penn State executive vice president and provost.
- Juliet G. Pinto, associate professor, Department of Journalism, Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. Her mentor will be Kelly Austin, vice president for Commonwealth Campuses and executive chancellor.
The Administrative Fellows Program enables participants to strengthen their administrative talents and qualifications by working with a Penn State leader in a mentoring relationship. Fellows increase their understanding of the contexts within which decisions are made and of the work done in units across the University.
