Second promotion and tenure workshop to be held Sept. 19

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Join the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs for a workshop titled "Committee Chair and Committee Member Engagement in the Tenure-line Promotion Review Process," to be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 19 via Penn State’s Zoom platform.

As part of the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Series, this session will cover any changes to promotion and tenure guidelines that are new for the academic year and is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the review process for tenure-line faculty, including review committee procedures, administrative guidelines, dossier materials, external reviewers, activity insight, and any other aspect of the promotion and tenure process for tenure-line faculty.

During this session, there will be a short formal presentation focused on recent changes to the promotion and tenure process, with most of the time dedicated to questions and answers.
