Penn State Human Resources to record calls for training, quality monitoring

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Human Resources will launch a tool this fall to help monitor service quality and assist in training. Beginning Nov. 1, calls made to the HR Services main line at 814-865-1473 will be recorded to secure servers maintained by the University. 

Employees will be notified of the recording process prior to being connected with HR personnel. At the beginning of each call, a pre-recorded message will remind them that the call is being monitored for quality assurance purposes. 

In addition to phone calls, Penn State employees can contact Human Resources through a live chat module or by email.
