UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Office of Strategic Communications and Penn State Information Technology in collaboration have created a limited selection of branded templates that are available for use by the University community to elevate the professional appearance of standard Penn State communications and bring brand consistency.

PowerPoint templates

PowerPoint decks (three versions), have been uploaded to the University’s Microsoft tenant and are now accessible in PowerPoint presentations.

To create a PowerPoint deck using the new template, simply open PowerPoint from your locally installed PowerPoint app, click on “New” in the left navigation, then click on “Penn State University” where it appears above the various template options.

To access the template in the cloud-based version of Office 365: Open a new presentation, click on “Office Templates,” then click on “The Pennsylvania State University” on the left.

Microsoft Word templates

Microsoft meeting agendas, name badges and name tent cards are available in Microsoft Word using the same process.

Faculty and staff may access the Microsoft templates by opening Word from the locally installed Word app, clicking “New,” then clicking “The Pennsylvania State University.”

Please note: These templates are not accessible from the Microsoft 365 Cloud version of Word at this time.
