UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In January, the Student Engagement Network rolled out a monthly student and faculty and staff newsletter in an effort to further knowledge and understanding of student engagement at Penn State.
Student Engagement Network offers latest news on program initiatives
The student newsletter includes information about the Engagement Space, grant program, and internship program, as well as details on other events and engagement opportunities. Interested students can sign up at engage.psu.edu/students/newsletter or by visiting the Engagement Space in the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State's University Park campus.
The faculty and staff newsletter includes programmatic updates, details about the Faculty Academy, and additional information on how to support the Student Engagement Network. Interested faculty and staff can sign up at engage.psu.edu/faculty/newsletter.
"This is an important step forward for our department as we continue to build cohesion and language around student engagement,” Zeman said. “Students can discover information and opportunities that are critical to their educational experience, and faculty and staff can find resources and remain aware of work performed by other units.”
The Student Engagement Network is a joint initiative between Undergraduate Education, Student Affairs, and Outreach and Online Education. The mission of the Student Engagement Network is to advance the power of participation by connecting students with experiences that empower them to make a positive impact as citizens and leaders of the world.
