UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Charles H. Whiteman, the John and Becky Surma Dean of the Smeal College of Business, has announced changes and enhancements to Smeal’s list of fellowships and professorships.
“Since my arrival at Smeal in 2012, one of my goals has been to increase recognition as well as support for our research faculty. Working with our development office, financial officer Leslie Maalouf, and all of our department chairs, we have allocated funds toward that goal,” Whiteman said.
“As we raise additional funds for this purpose and our faculty members achieve success, we will make more awards in the months and years to come.”
What follows are changes and additions to the college’s list of fellowships and professorships, four of which are new. Each recognizes research excellence:
