UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Registration is still open for "Inclusive Advising: Building Bridges in a Diverse Learning Environment," the 16th annual Professional Development Conference on Academic Advising, taking place Sept. 28 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at University Park.

This year’s keynote address will feature Justin Brown, resident director at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania, a well known speaker and diversity instructor. During his undergraduate tenure at Slippery Rock University, Brown created the Diversity Awareness Program (D.A.P.), dedicated to raising awareness and educating college campuses about the importance of diversity and the embracing of all cultures and backgrounds.
