Registration now open for 18th annual DUS conference on academic advising

Open to all Penn State faculty and staff, the conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State faculty and staff University-wide who are interested in learning about novel research and practices in the field of academic advising can now register for the 18th annual DUS Conference on Innovative Academic Advising.

This year, participants will be able to attend sessions on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel, located at Innovation Park on the University Park campus. A registration form can be found here. A full schedule of sessions will be released in the coming weeks.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for those wishing to stay overnight. Reserve a room by visiting the website and using the group code ACAD19A. The group rate is $125 per room. The guest room rate, which does not cover deluxe guest rooms and suites, expires on Aug. 25.

The conference is supported by the Penn State Division of Undergraduate Studies, University Faculty Senate, Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, Office of Undergraduate Education, and The Mentor: Innovative Scholarship on Academic Advising journal.
