Frank D. Quattrone, a longtime journalist and English instructor at Penn State Abington, wrote a new book immortalizing the characters that populate the Philadelphia suburb of Ambler. This is his second book focusing on the onetime industrial town, which has transformed into a haven for boutiques and restaurants.
"Legendary Locals of Ambler" tells the story of the borough through Quattrone’s captivating profiles of current politicians, business people, builders, restaurateurs, and supporters of the arts and charitable organizations as well as their ancestors.
