MALVERN, Pa. — Starting in fall 2017, Penn State Great Valley will offer its AACSB-accredited, part-time MBA program at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. With free parking and easy access from I-95, Penn State’s building at the Navy Yard provides a convenient option for employees looking to enhance their business acumen and career. The location is also convenient for professionals living or working in Philadelphia and its suburbs, South Jersey, and Delaware.
“With 13,000 employees at the Navy Yard that represent a wide range of companies and industry sectors, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to deliver the Penn State Great Valley MBA program at this exciting location,” said Penn State Great Valley Chancellor James Nemes.
Penn State Great Valley’s MBA program prepares students to think strategically, problem solve, innovate, and effectively communicate. Course work integrates key areas of business, including finance, accounting, marketing, leadership, organizational behavior, and human resources. Taught by renowned Penn State faculty, evening classes at the Navy Yard will meet weekly and will incorporate online work.
In addition to the MBA program, master’s degree and certificate courses held at the Navy Yard include systems engineering, distributed energy and grid modernization, and project management.
