DuBOIS, Pa. — The 80th annual Delta Mu Sigma Honors Convocation at Penn State DuBois recognized outstanding students, faculty and staff members on Thursday night, April 11, in the campus' Hiller Auditorium.

Awards at the Honors Convocation recognize students for a wide range of accomplishments, from academic excellence to overcoming hardships to succeed. Members of the staff and faculty were celebrated for their commitment to supporting students and for their service to the campus and community. The event is organized each year by members of the Delta Mu Sigma Honors Society.

“Every year we gather to honor students of Penn State DuBois who excel in academics, leadership, service and community involvement,” said Delta Mu Sigma Chair Jamie Turner. “This is the night faculty and staff can award students who have truly outshined within their classes, clubs and organizations. It is also a time when students can applaud faculty and staff for their excellence and dedication to the campus.”

Chancellor M. Scott McBride added, “These awards recognize students who consistently go the extra mile and stand out for their success and impact they’ve had on others.”
